The platform’s development priorities span the value chain, with the registry as the starting point.
Registry & traceability
Start with a clear record.
Member identity, association membership and documented livestock activity form the foundation for the platform. Registration, supporting evidence and review remain distinct parts of the record.
The operating model brings vaccination delivery, veterinary coordination and disease surveillance together through association chapters, with livestock records providing the common reference.

Markets & aggregation

Processing & halal standards
Carry the record through.
Assessment, revitalisation and development of processing capacity are part of the platform’s scope. The focus is on modern food-safety and halal standards, with traceability from intake to packaged product.

Better records. Better foundations.
A useful record keeps the person, the activity and the supporting evidence connected, while making their different roles clear.

UNLP aims to support the priorities of the Federal Ministry of Livestock Development. Its first national programme, a National Livestock Registry, is structured to populate, integrate with and strengthen the National Livestock Information Management System rather than establish a parallel system of record.
Built with the people who move the sector.
MACBAN, NACDPAMN and AUFCDN bring association networks across the value chain into one platform.
Federal
The National Livestock Registry programme has been submitted to the Federal Ministry of Livestock Development.
States and the FCT
The proposed pathway for engagement with states and the FCT is: a designated focal person, a state diagnostic and agreed priority programmes, followed by technical and investment structuring, agreements, financing and implementation.
Government & public sector
State priorities, diagnostics and agreed programmes provide a path from local need to implementation.
