Questions members ask.

Where should I start if I want to join?

Registration is not open on this website. Ask your association or its authorised team about its current membership arrangements. If you are unsure which contact to use, email UNLP with a general enquiry. The Registry overview explains how member records fit together.

Can I register or change my record on this page?

No. This page provides information and enquiry links. For registration or a change to an existing record, ask your authorised association contact which process to use.

I do not know my chapter. What should I do?

Open your association’s contact guidance. If you still need guidance, email UNLP with the association and state you know, and ask how to identify the appropriate chapter contact.

What if a detail in my record is wrong?

Describe the type of correction to your authorised association contact and ask what information is needed. Keep your existing reference available for the appropriate process; do not attach identity documents to a general email.

What if I have a card question or have lost a card?

Ask your authorised association contact how to report the issue and what to do next. If you do not know the contact, email UNLP for guidance. Keep passwords and personal documents out of the message.

Does registration guarantee access to a service or benefit?

Registration does not guarantee a loan, insurance or a government benefit. Each service has its own availability, eligibility and terms. Ask about those terms before choosing to take part.

What does “verified” mean?

Verification concerns the evidence supporting a record. Completeness concerns whether the expected information is present. A complete record is not automatically a verified one. The Technology guide explains these distinctions.

How do I ask about privacy?

For information shared through the public website or by email, read the website Privacy Policy and use the website privacy contact below. For a Registry or registration question, ask the authorised team handling your record for the relevant privacy information and contact route.

Can someone help me understand the information?

You can read these guides with someone you trust. Ask the team handling registration to explain the relevant notice and next steps in a language you understand. Keep control of your personal documents and access details.

I sent an enquiry. What should I do if I still need an answer?

Check that your email was sent to the address shown here. You can follow up in the same email conversation with a brief description of the question. Avoid sending extra personal information. If you already have an authorised association contact, you can also ask them which route to use.
